Wake the Wild Creatures was chosen for the 2026 Best Fiction for Young Adults (BFYA) book list from the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA)!
YALSA is a division of the American Library Association (ALA), and every year they put together a list that consists of fiction books written for teens ages 12 to 18 that incorporate outstanding literary quality and effectiveness of presentation, as well as appeal to the reading tastes of the teens.
