YALSA, the Young Adult Library Services Association of the ALA, announced its list of 2016 Best Fiction for Young Adults, and The Walls Around Us was one of the titles!
The Best Fiction for Young Adults titles are chosen by a committee of librarians, and I’m honored to find my book included, especially among so many of my favorites! To see the full list of selected titles, see here.
And, there’s more good news! My novel Imaginary Girls was named to the 2016 Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults list, under the category “Unreliable Narrators: Don’t Believe a Word.” Sounds fitting to me… and I’m so happy to know people are still reading my first YA novel!
